The tradition continues in this seventh year!
The thousands of people who have attended our conferences in recent years have gratefully conveyed to us how much they found them pleasant, useful and informative! Don't miss the chance to attend this next one! As promised two months ago, the Conference 2011 on corporate law will be stopping by, starting in September, those cities that we haven't been able to visit last June.
Among other things, we continue with our analysis of the new Quebec Business Corporations Act, but there will be much more!
This conference is a must for anyone interested in corporate law.

However, this fall sees the arrival of a brand new concept here at Marque d'or, the "double conference"!
The presentation pertaining to the QBCA will be held during the morning, as usual, but later on in the day, during the afternoon (at the same location), Marque d'or will be giving another conference on the brand new Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act !
We've been waiting for it since 1917...
This Act has gone through all the mandatory steps and is now simply awaiting the government's final seal of approval...which we can hope will not take too long.
This two-hour conference will allow attendees to familiarize themselves with the main points and many novelties of this new Act, considered to be very "modern" as compared to the current federal Act. We will also take this opportunity to review the notions of a "charity organization".
This conference is in the process of obtaining its certification both from the Bar and the Chambre des notaires.

Furthermore, as in every conference, we will take advantage of the opportunity to:
A USB key containing the documents of the conference will be remitted.
Schedule:
The morning activity (the three-hour conference on the QBCA) will be held between 9:00AM and 12:00PM, and a continental breakfast buffet will be offered. Attendees will then be free for lunch, after which the afternoon conference, on the federal Not-for-profit, of a TWO-hour duration, will be held between 1:30PM and 3:30PM (except in Bonaventure, on September 28th, where it will be held between 1:00PM and 3:00PM)
As always, a not-to-be-missed event, in an environment that is conducive to exchanges and discussions! We are very happy to go and meet with you and hope to have the chance of greeting many of you!
Fees:
the prices per person are...
- $295,07 taxes included for the morning conference (QBCA) ($259 before taxes)
- $203,93 taxes included for the afternoon conference (federal Not-for-profit) ($179 before taxes)
- and thus $499 taxes included for both conferences ($438 before taxes)

The QBCA conference has obtained its certification from the Continuing Education Committee of the Quebec Bar and also from the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
An attestation will be given to each person who attends the conference. |
