Information and Official Documents

This service can help you obtain information or documents issued by the governments, such as:

• Information on a business registered on the Quebec Register of Enterprises (REQ), on the Central Register of Enterprises of Quebec (FCE) and on Strategis at the Federal level.
• Certified copies or photocopies of documents pertaining to businesses registered with the Quebec Enterprise Registrar or the Corporations Canada Director.
• Certificates of attestation, good standing and compliance issued by the governments.
• A search report on the assets (mortgage, moveable hypothec, bank and credit) of a company and its activities (bankruptcy, litigation, environment and tax liabilities).
• Tax numbers issued by the tax authorities in Quebec and at the federal level.

Official Documents

To obtain certified copies or photocopies of official documents.
When ordering photocopies, we send you an electronic copy upon their receipt at our offices.
The original document, whether photocopies or certified copies, are then delivered to you free of charge.

Certificates

Industry Canada will issue a certificate of compliance if all annual returns or Schedule 80 have been filed. The certificate of compliance attests that a corporation has not been dissolved, that all its annual reports have been filed and that the related fees have been paid. The Enterprise Registrar can issue an attestation confirming the registration of the company, the filing of its annual declarations and, if such is the case, the dissolution or striking off of the company; he can also issue, if need be, a certificate of regularity to confirm the filing of the annual returns.

Obtaining Tax Numbers (NotaxTM)

This service is used to register an individual, a partnership or a legal person with the Quebec Minister of Revenue and the Canada Revenue Agency. We can obtain for you GST and QST numbers pertaining to the commercial activity and set the declaration and payment frequency. You can obtain, at no additional cost, the salary deduction numbers and the business numbers for tax purposes where applicable.
